Daily Schedule
School Hours: 7:30-2:15
Beyond the core subjects, students at Independence Elementary STEM engage in the following special classes every other day:
- Phy ed (30 minutes)
- Music (30 minutes)
- STEM (30 minutes, rotates each semester)
- 1 trimester of innovative arts (art/visual art)
- 1 trimester of PLTW launch
- 1 trimester of engineering
In addition, students receive 20 minutes of recess followed by 20 minutes of lunch between 10:20am-1pm each day.
